To get started, take a picture of your subject against a wall in your house.

Composition checklist: Photographer: Stand about 6 feet away from the subject. Capture the subject from the shoulders and leave space above the head Shadows: ensure the subject stands one feet away from the background to avoid shadows Expression: make sure the subject has a neutral expression with no teeth showing Glasses: remove to avoid hiding the eyes Eyes: make sure no red eye in your photos Background Color: light-gray Headwear: only permitted if worn for religious beliefs and must not cover the front, the cheekbones or the chin

After taking the picture, transfer the file from your camera to your computer and specify its location.

¹Unfortunately, the size of common photo paper is not exactly 4x6" or 10x15cm. The size and the method of cropping vary between printing services (we measured a 3 mm difference between Snapfish and Walgreens). Therefore, 100% accuracy can only be provided if you choose the Premium option, because we automatically accomodate our printer's nuances.

²For customers in the US, if you select the Walgreens pickup option, your passport photos will be ready at your nearest Walgreens store either the same day or the following day (you will receive an email notification). Please note that you will be required to pay $0.19 in the store.
